CarCare ("we", "our application") takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

User account: automatically generated anonymous identifier (Firebase Authentication). No email address, name, or password is required to use the application.
Vehicle data: make, model, year, mileage, maintenance history — voluntarily entered by the user.
Fuel data: fuel volumes, prices, mileage — voluntarily entered by the user.
Preferences: language, currency — stored locally on the device.

2. Use of Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

Display your reminders and maintenance history
Calculate your fuel consumption and expense statistics
Synchronize your data across your devices via Firebase
Send reminder notifications, with your permission

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Security

All data is transmitted via HTTPS and stored in Firebase Firestore, which is secured by strict access rules. Only the authenticated user can access their own data.

Your data is retained for as long as you use the application. You may request the deletion of all your data at any time by contacting us.

In accordance with the GDPR and applicable laws, you have the right to:

CarCare is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
